First of all you will choose the size of the album, and the number of pictures you wants in it. We offer different sizes of albums, so you can choose the one that suits you.  For example an album of Bar Mitzvah trip in Israel will be larger and contain more pictures, due to the various events that surround the trip, such as the Bar Mitzvah ceremony, the various fun activities and places you visited in Israel.

The next step is choosing the best photos which highlight this special event and the album cover. After that begins the layout and design of the digital album.  Our graphic designer will send you a computer file of the rough copy of the album for your comments and feedback.  At this stage you will still be able to make changes the final step involves printing and sending you the album.

There are different types and sizes of album, either square or rectangular.

The recommended sizes are:         square album 30cm x 30cm 
                                            rectangular album 40cm x 30cm

It's possible to choose smaller albums with a similar graphic design to the large albums.
These smaller albums are ideal gifts for your relatives.

A digital album can contain between 100-450 images, depending on the size of the selected album.

The number of images in the album is based on the type of the event, its duration, and the amount of guests.

There are several options in selecting photos for the album.  One option is that you select the photos from the images disk you received after the event.  You will then send us a detailed list.  The second option is that you let us to choose for you.
From  experience we know that, after returning home to every day routine, you do not always find the time to select the photos for the album from the huge selection of hundreds and sometimes thousands of images. In this case the work process can get delayed.

We, at Shamayim, can help select the photos for the album, since we have become familiar with your family and relatives during your stay in Israel.  We can choose for the best pictures for you while still giving you the option to add or delete any image. This option all speeds up the whole process.

Producing the album can take between 4-12 weeks, depending on the time taken to choose the photos and your co-operation. 
The design process, printing and shipping, takes approximately 4 weeks.

So far never  we have never had a case where a package did not arrive. Every package is insured for damage and loss and if unfortunately it should get lost we have backed up all your materials, so that a new album can be produced at no extra cost and resent.

There are the popular pockets albums in which all the images are printed at the same size. These albums are cheaper and simpler, but do not have any special design. 
  We do assure that even in these albums the photos will still be of the best quality available.

It will depend on the style and complexity of the event, its duration and the number of the guests.

There are events, where activities take place simultaneously at different locations.  In this case you will need two film crews to cover the entire events.  

A professional photographer usually takes several shots of the same image, often those photos of family and portraits, resulting in hundreds of pictures.   We go through them all and remove the less flattering which saves time in the final selection. 

In order to give the best quality photos, each image gets our full attention. If  needed  we make slight alterations, such as color corrections, exposure adjustments, clarity adjustments, black and white processing , etc.

We film in HD (high definition) format, which give the picture sharpness and a better quality.

There are two options to receive the video, either DVD or Blue Ray.

Important! For the BLU RAY format, you need to have BLU RAY player, otherwise you will not be able watch the video.

Another possibility is to receive the film on an external hard drive, or disc-on-key.

We will be more than happy to add any special pieces of music that you would like to be included in the soundtrack of the video.

At Shamayim we make sure to save and to back-up all our work. This includes video and stills materials.

 It is very important to us, that our clients will know that any videos or photos accidentally deleted or lost, will be replaced by us with no additional cost to you.
